The Friends Garden - FORP, The Friends of Roundhay Park.
 After three years of toil the Friends' Garden was opened to the public in July 2005. The stepping stones finally completed, and are now finally surrounded by water instead of mud, and the Friends of Roundhay Park have planted no less than ninety-one plants, twelve trees, fourteen kinds of bulb and twenty-six different meadow plants, including four distinct grasses. The Park staff have constructed a path from the Rainbow Garden, which winds pleasantly so visitors to Canal Gardens can now stroll through into this peaceful oasis. Photo June 2008. Tony Quinn.
